The Problem with "The Eye Test"
For decades, the dominant authentication companies relied entirely on human analysts performing the "eye test." They looked at an item, consulted a binder of examples, and made a subjective call.
While human intuition is powerful, it suffers from fatigue, bias, and an inability to see microscopic realities. A forged signature drawn slowly will often look structurally perfect to the naked eye, but under 50x magnification, the hesitation marks and ink pooling become glaringly obvious.
We built AutographPass to combine the irreplaceable contextual knowledge of historians with the unblinking rigor of forensic science.
